Two Killed After World Cup Stadium collapses In Brazil

At least two people have died after a crane collapsed at the next World Cup stadium in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

The incident occurred as the final part of the roof was being installed at the Corinthians stadium but instead it hit the stands.

Firefighters said one other person was left injured by the crane collapse.

Television footage from the site showed a twisted metal structure that lay in between the top of one of the stands and the ground below.

Meanwhile,Fifa President Sepp Blatter, has taken his Twitter to say he was 'deeply saddened' by the news.
He tweeted: "I'm deeply saddened by the tragic death of workers @Corinthians arena today. Our heartfealt condolences are with the families."

The stadium was due to be completed next month and is set to host 6 games including the opening game of the Fifa World Cup in June 2014.
