Nigeria Are U17 Champions

The golden eaglets of Nigeria have won the U17 world cup after defeating Mexico in final in UAE.

The Nigerians were a goal up in first half with an own goal from Mexico defender,before Nigeria doubled the lead in second half and Nigeria captain Mohammed scoring a late minutes free kick to take the score Nigeria 3:0 Mexico..

Meanwhile,Sweden took the 3rd position after defeating Argentina in the 3rd place display. Nigeria players won awards,with Iheinacho presented the Silver Boot and Best player award.Also,Nigeria Goal keeper,Dele Alampasu won the Golden Glove and Captain Mohammed winning the Fifa Fair play award.

The win means Nigeria have won the trophy in a remarkable fourth time.
