3 Nigerians Make Forbes' Africa Person Of The Year Shortlist.

Nigerians have dominated latest forbes' Africa person of the year award shortlist. In a statement released by Forbes' offical, “Every year, we are excited to decide the Forbes Africa Person of the Year.

We want to honour the big hitters of the continent who are making a difference in people’s lives and we hope that in doing so, it will inspire others,” commented Chris Bishop, the managing editor of Forbes Africa magazine. This year,the list has been dominated by West and Southern Africans,with Nigeria in the lead with three nominees.Zimbabwe and South Africa have one nominee each.

The five finalists for theForbes Africa Person of The Year2013 include: South African mining magnate, Patrice Motsepe,Nigeria’s Minister of Agriculture ,Akinwunmi Adesina,Africa’s richest man ,Aliko Dangote, ECONET founder, Strive Masiyiwa and West Africa’s second largest financial service provider, Jim Ovia .
